Sway and Swing with Fringe

While looking through pages of my fashion magazines I have observed that one look has seem to appear on many celebrities and fashion ads. Now I understand why. Fringes are one of the hottest trends nowadays. If you can’t picture what this is, fringes are like hanging threads, cords, or any strips that are attached ornamentally on a piece of cloth .This fad has been seen earlier in the 60’s and 70’s and it is making its way back. They are seen all over the runways for the fall and spring 2010 collection. It is a must have for this season. This style has covered all fashion items imaginable. They are seen in boots, jackets, bags, sandals, dresses, skirts, shirts, earrings, pendants, belts, scarf, etc.  They are best seen in gray, black and white. Wearing this style can make you own that bohemian look. You can sway, swing and make others hypnotize by adding movement through your clothes by using fringe.

Noting Imperfections

It is impossible to be slim in an instant yet if you choose the right clothes for you it is achievable to look as if you lost a couple of pounds. You can give an illusion of a thinner silhouette by dressing appropriately. When shopping for clothes most overweight people get bigger garments thinking that it is right for them but it will only make them look heavier. You should stick on the right size. Not too large neither too tight. Patterns do affect your appearance, avoid horizontal lines and big patterns, and instead go with vertical lines which will elongate you or choose small and minimal prints. You can also use dark colors as a replacement for of the light ones. They are effective to cover your flabby parts and bumps. Draw the eyes away from your problem areas. If you have a large stomach, avoid tucking your shirt or using belts and scarves along the waist. If you are short, long skirts won’t fit you. Skinny jeans and flare cut pants will make your hips and thighs larger. Instead, you should opt for knee length skirts or boot cut leg pants, and V line necks. No one is perfect but if you choose your clothes wisely you can make yourself look better.

Time to Shine

After 5 years of not seeing each other we finally find time to meet up and organize a reunion. It is a good time to catch for the years that we’ve missed the company of one another. Though this event may be a stressor for me I still want to see my old pals. I want to put my best foot forward so that they will see how much I’ve grown as a person and how I managed to keep myself young and stylish.

I prepared myself ahead like having beauty and hair treatments in the spa and salons and of course the must do pampering for my nails, manicure and pedicure. After knowing the dressiness of the event, i think a little black dress was the safest to wear. I opted for a one shoulder, knee length form fitting dress which I accessorized with a fringe earrings and bracelet. A red peep toe heels added color and a shoulder bag completed my reunion look. Now I am confident and ready to mingle and bring back the old times.
